Horses on this page on not yet in foster. However, as a courtesy to owners looking for a good home for their animals, we have created this page to allow owners to advertise their horses and perhaps place them even before they come into foster. If you wish to inquire about a horse on this page, please contact us at sadie@sadiesplace.ca for contact information.

Found a Home!

Meet Noordinary Xample, also known as Roy (named after Roy Hobbs). He's a 16hh bay gelding with a star on his forehead. His owners say he is 5 years old. He is very good to work around and gets along well with other horses, even babies. He was trained for racing but just wasn't fast enough. His owner's feel he would make a good riding or driving horse for a new owner.

WAITING FOR FOSTER!

Tabitha, or Tabby, as she is known, is a 4 year old Standardbred mare, 15.3 hh. She is retired from racing and looking for a new forever home. Her owner says she is eager to please and responds well to a soothing voice. She likes dogs, but doesn't like treats! She stands well in crossties and picks her feet up with no problems.

Found a Home!

Title Page Hanover is a 12 year old standardbred gelding retiring from racing. His owners say he is very good to handle, well mannered and friendly. They also tell us he is very sound. He is bay with no white markings.

Title Page's owners have tried already on their own to place him, but were unsuccessful. He is currently being boarded near Cornwall. The owners love him dearly and want to see him with a loving family that will enjoy this good natured boy for the rest of his life.

WAITING FOR FOSTER!!!!

Missy is a 6 year old standardbred mare who retired from the track about a year ago because she was too slow! She is about 14.3 - 15 hh and has already had 3 months of saddle training! Take a look at this lovely mare, she's very bright and great barn manners. The owner really needs the stall and is looking to find her a new home as soon as possible.
